Scenes Media is looking for a variety of interns experienced in Video Editing, Social Media, Customer Engagement, or Music this fall!

About Scenes Media

Scenes Media is an online media and entertainment source. They are working to build an online presence for emerging artists on their way to stardom with the goal of elevating these artists in any Scene. They also work in collaboration with seasoned celebrities and professions to produce a variety of content such as video podcasts, broadcast programming and more.

Fall 2022 Internships

 

We are looking for 7 interns.

2 Video Editors:
 One can be mostly a cutter. Another needs to be highly skilled in sound mixes for music. After working with over 1,700 bands, we have a huge vault of intellectual property in hand from our Scenes Live Sessions (FB takeovers, which have been pre-recorded by the artists during the last two years). We want to cut the very best of these Sessions of 3 – 4 songs into singles and playlists or medleys by genre and type of band. So, we need video editors who are skilled in using Premiere Pro and Audible. Much of the material could be enhanced greatly from sound mixes, taking it from “almost great” to “great.” This isn’t as daunting as it may sound, as when I say “almost” I really mean “almost.” A few tweaks and the stuff becomes as good as what might be done in a recording Session.

2 Social Media Mavens (Admins):
 we need interns who can both write the copy for our posts and push the content out. We have the capability of posting to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Clouthub–all from a central dashboard program called Loomly. We think it’s much better than Hootsuite and others in that category. These positions call for publicity skills, including writing, and diligence.

2 Engagement Gurus (Admins):
 We want these interns to engage with our commenters, keeping the conversation going. We also want them to look for opportunities to jump into conversations taking place elsewhere across social media that afford opportunities to promote our content. You can’t do this in a spammy way, we understand. The EG needs to enter into these conversations in a genuine way, while keeping an eye out for opportunities to reference Scenes’ content.

1 Playlister:
 with all the content we have in hand, and more coming all the time, we really should be distributing across all music services. We have a tool for that in CD Baby.
