My name is Jacob (Jake) Russo, and I am a Broadcast Journalism Student / Radio Presenter at Biola University. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved writing and telling stories. Now I am hoping to use that love to help spread information, and use video to share stories that deserve to be told.
In 2019, I placed 1st and 2nd in the Triton Film Festival and Envision Unity Film Festivals respectively. For the past five years my life has been dedicated to honing my skills as a writer and storyteller, creating a number of projects that you can find here on the site. Outside of school, I have spent time familiarizing myself with the latest industry software including the Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Writer’s Duet. Some of my latest projects can be found at this link. Currently, I am experimenting with audience engagement and algorithm capitalization on my Youtube channel. At the time of writing this I am about to pass 30,000 views after almost two weeks of consistent uploads.
As a former Top 500 player in Pokemon Generations 6 and 8, one of my passions is the latest news in gaming and E-Sports. I do my best to constantly keep up with the latest trends and releases to be informed on whats happening.
