In essence, my journey has been about creating, contributing and finding meaning in the spaces I inhabit.
Most of the lessons I have learned about journalism have been through my work with campus media rather than my classes. I sat at a desk and learned AP style, but I had to have an editor rip my draft to shreds as a freshman to actually get it. That is how I learned, and how I continue to learn to grow as a creative and communicator, through practice.
Although I have only included the most relevant roles here, there have been other formative positions I have held that were not disclosed for the sake of space.
In essence, my journey has been about creating, contributing and finding meaning in the spaces I inhabit.
